Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Sirvientes de Cristo. Please contact us to become a missionary or to help with local efforts.

Who Can Join?

Missionaries must be 18 years or older. Minors 16 years and older may come if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Do I need to be Catholic?

Sirvientes de Cristo is a Catholic organization. While volunteers do not need to be Catholic, they are expected to participate in all of the team’s activities, including daily prayer and Mass.

Will I need vaccines?

No vaccines are required for entry into Honduras, but we strongly recommend that you consult with your physician regarding vaccinations and medication prior to travel.

When are the trips?

Typically, the trip is two-weeks, beginning in the middle of June. 

Do I need to Speak Spanish?

Spanish speaking is not required.

How Much does it cost?

The cost varies from year to year, depending on airfare and hotel rates. We advise people to budget $1500, which includes room, board, and airfare.

What is the application process?

Those interested in joining a mission trip may contact [email protected] for more information and to meet with trip organizers. Those going on the trip will be required to attend some pre-trip meetings.
